“A Dream trip for every travelers”

A Memorable Journey of Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour

A unique love story of Shahjahan and Mumtaz Mahal, Or in other words, the most expensive love story on this globe .no matter how many times you have visited the Taj Mahal alone or with family, every time it seems that it’s the first love to see at first sight. Personally, I have been four times in Taj Mahal, and my experience was great all the time. Planning to visit Taj Mahal plan in September to March anytime, as summers are very hot here 48-49 degrees. So as a foreigner, it’s unbearable sometimes. As a tourist and if you are a first-timer didn’t know much about the monument, maybe you have read many books but experiencing by your own will teach you much more than the books. Firstly book the trip from any travel agency which gives you an all-inclusive tour from New Delhi to Taj Mahal and back to your hotel. From Delhi, it took 3 hrs drive if you are coming from the Yamuna expressway, so if you are planning to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, you have to wake up early and be ready at 2:45 am, the driver will be there and start your journey as a first-timer you will be much more excited because you will be witnessing the Taj Mahal which you have read or heard since from your childhood. As a suggestion, if you like to view the sunrise Taj Mahal tour from delhi, come one day early and book a hotel in Agra as there are many good and luxury hotels, and mostly all the hotels are in the range of Taj Mahal within 2-3 kms.

Best time to visit Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour

Once you reach in the Agra, car will be parked once you step out lot of hawkers and vendors will gather and try to sell cheap stuff, if you hired a guide through agency, he will explain you before stepping out (don’t bargain, don’t ask anything, don’t say or haggle with them ) otherwise they won’t leave you until you are in the Taj Mahal .there are battery vehicles tourist can sit and go upto to the main gate, there your tickets will be checked and you get in. If it’s Saturday or Sunday’s, expect a minimum half hour line. Once you enter in the Taj Mahal you will be checked again and your purses, bags, video camera, iPod, any plastic items, any drinking stuff, any mosquito sprays, sunscreen not even water also, with the ticket they gave you a water bottle that only you can bring in, and the shoe covers which they gave otherwise not is permissible to enter in the monument, after entering the royal gate maybe you can’t speak a single word, or your mouth will be open for a minute while witnessing the exceptional view of the Taj Mahal, which you have heard or read in the books now from your own eyes you are witnessing it. It’s the moment that everyone should experience.  While I am sure, it’s the best time to visit Taj Mahal in sunrise because of two reasons one is that early Sunrays changes the colour of dome and itself the taj becomes pinkish in colour and secondly this is the time when there are the least amount of tourists. As a traveler you want to see three times that how Taj Mahal changes the color in the early morning, it changes in pinkish color, in the afternoon it becomes milky white and in the early evening it becomes light orange in colour and and as we heard it changes the fourth colour in moonlight, as the moonlight comes on the taj, it shimmers like a diamond .so while entering in the Taj Mahal you will witness the four gardens and 22 fountains, as we were told by our guide everything in Taj Mahal is symmetrical, 22 small domes on the royal gate, 22 steps, 22 fountains, 22 years took Taj Mahal to make and by 22000 artists. It’s really wow, there are many good spots to take photos, and there are some fake points also which guide only knows once you go on that point, four minarets of Taj Mahal will

Be hidden, those who are the phot freak they can easily take good selfies also, as per the gardens they are known to be the charbaghs or the four garden of heavens and the canals or fountains are there so you can witness the beauty, once you step up to the Taj Mahal firstly, you have to wear your shoe cover or remove your shoes, better to put shoe covers and after stepping up, there is a lot of calligraphy written on the walls of Taj Mahal, before I thought it’s painting, but our guide told us about inlay work. When entering the graves of king and queen, a lot of fine and good screen work can be seen and inlaid the semi-precious stones, a lot of floral patterns can be seen inside the Taj Mahal and in the graves of king and queen. After spending some time there we came out and again find a good spot to take pictures as we were not the only one there are many others also, but fortunately, we take some good shots with the help of a guide.

Delicious Yummy Food & Wonderful Tour Sightseeing at Taj mahal

There were two other identical buildings on the western side; there is a red sandstone mosque and on the other side was a guest house, it’s all Perfect Symmetry. Even the mosque also had beautiful carving on the red sandstone and the sun rays making it more warm, as many tourists want to know about how and why the Taj Mahal color doesn’t fade or absorb anything in few years, so the best to know is that the king selected this marble because it’s from Rajasthan a place there called Makrana, earlier there were mountains of that marble but now they have gone deeper to get the marble into massive blocks. And king selected the stone from different parts of the world, he used precious and semi-precious stones, this art is known as Pietra dura, or in simple marble inlay work, as in the whole Taj Mahal one can see the fine and intricate calligraphy, floral patterns, beauty to designs, mostly from Persia, Turkish’s and offcourse indo Islamic culture. The stones we’re lapis, Jasper, white agate, tigers eye, malachite, mother of Pearl and the very special stone is the cornelian, this is the super special stone in the taj which glows when you put a flashlight on it, and it is said that because of Mother of Pearl and cornelian Taj Mahal looks more beautiful in the moonlight, as the marble is having crystals in it which summers and by birth this marble is non porous and the nest proof is the Taj Mahal still standing in rain and sun, Yes it was scaffold after 360 years as they had done some restoration work and mud packing, because of pollution it’s becomes little yellowish. Tourists can stay upto three hrs here, and it’s enough to explore the ironic beauty of the Taj Mahal. You didn’t want to go back but if you want to see more attractions in the town you have to be adjustable with the time, later have good breakfast .many good restaurants are there some of them are serving very yummy food, as we had in Marriot hotel as it was organised by our agency, but in the afternoon time we had a spicy food on the Main Street of the town.

Guide can be tipped as per your wish they won’t ask you anything but they gave you good knowledge and full time, so we gave a good tip, as this was a memory forever in our life.
