Some Glimpses of Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi

When it comes to see the Taj Mahal all the tourist around the world wanted to spend time and know about it. As a corporate guest, I visited India in a short while but didn’t have time to enjoy or relax, but on Saturday and Sunday’s we got time, and we didn’t want to relax as we are in India. We want to explore the beauty of Taj Mahal, the food, colours of clothes and the history. So we plan to visit Agra Taj Mahal for one day and we booked a tour as we will be picked up by 6 AM and we were told to be driven 3 hrs to reach Taj Mahal. So we were prepared now, next early morning we get off our beds and ready to move on as our car was out and the driver speaks good English which is convenient for us, once we were in Agra we were told by our guide if we were having driving licence, passports or any valuable things keep that in lockers which Taj Mahal gave, so we keep our purses, bags and passports. Now we found a battery buss to reach there, after five minutes of drive from the parking we were at the gate, tickets were already purchased  by our guide, a little time taken to get in because of long line, almost 15 minutes spend there .after spending time 5 minutes check up, no keys, no lipsticks no chips no cookies, as one of our colleague was having her beauty things which was stopped so our guide again go to the locker abd out her things, it was a little hectic for us, but once we entered in the Taj Mahal we forgot everything and we were in love of that white Taj Mahal building, we came to know that it took 22 years and 22000 labor’s or artisans to build this magnificent live building for her Queen. It’s having 22 fountains and it’s ironically said that it’s having four gardens which is said in Islam the garden of paradise it has been said that it’s a replica of heaven itself filled with love and it is everlasting. If someone imagine how the heaven look like it may look like that, but so much crowded but our gudie manage to take good picture for us. As a gemologist I like to know more about stone work in the  Taj Mahal. He told that blue lapis lazuli was brought from Afghanistan at that time and yes it was true the best lapis lazuli was from there now we are getting from chili also. I love jasper and onex, as one can witness the calligraphy written in Black onex which is super talented. We heard that more than 28 different types of semi precious and precious stones were used in the Taj Mahal . And in the back side of Taj Mahal we saw a river Yamuna, one side of the Taj Mahal there is a mosque and on the other end there is a called a guest house, loved the four minarets of Taj Mahal abs they are leaning towards outside the building that’s something unusual which  never saw in any other buildings. Many Indians wanted to take pictures with you if you are a foreigner and it’s ok for us so we allowed everyone, we heard very interesting fact about the Taj Mahal that it changes the colour according to the light, as in the sunrise it looks like Pinkish, in the early evening it looks like milky white and in the moonlight it looks like golden in colour but we witnessed in milky white, as we were in 2019 February so weather was good and in the day light it looks more beautiful, as after finishing the Taj Mahal site when the tourists are out of the building many hawkers or vendors they chase you to sell there cheap stuff, but if you haggle them or say no to them they will not leave you alone upto your car so better not to say anything or simple buy any cheap stuff .

Memorable Visit to Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi

The second stop will be Agra fort the best part is jasmine tower which is also called Musamman-burj where the king stayed his house arrest by his younger son Aurangzeb with his daughter. Taj Mahal day tour includes many other monuments also like itmadullah (baby Taj), Mehtab Bagh and the city of ghosts (fatehpur sikri) but the main is time if you have time for all this and your colleagues agree, the Taj Mahal was to go through a bit tebal plan as the time for traveling used  to include seven to eight hrs, which we went through 3 hrs drive and already spend two hrs in Taj Mahal and one hrs in Agra Fort later, we told our guide to have lunch in street we wanted to enjoy the taste of local food, it’s really cheap and tasty but really spicy. If any tourist wants to see more monuments spend less time in Taj Mahal atleast 2 hrs, 1 hrs in Agra fort, 30 minutes in mehtab bagh and 30 minutes in baby Taj and if you don’t have a time budget than drive to the ghost city it took atleast 1 hrs from Taj Mahal to fathepur sikri, we didn’t go there but we enjoyed three buildings in one day.

Delicious Food & Amazing Architectural works in Agra

The food was good but certainly we would have tried in our buffet where we could enjoy drinks also and local food can be offered there. In Agra there is famous one mroe handcrafted things which is known s as pachekari (marble inlay work) if any tourist likes to buy some souvenir, you can witness one more thing there that they are the direct descendants of the Mughal era there families had worked in Taj Mahal, and when you saw them working live tourists can witness them they are still working with hand driven wheels and with semi precious stones and they are making beautiful objects in marble, it’s really eye catching things which tourists could buy and they can ship also and genuine, overall our trip to Taj Mahal was astonished and will be again with my kids and family to show them how the life was at that time in Mughal period and how still the Indians are keeping this art live, because in the Taj Mahal day trip you not only witness the Taj Mahal but also the view of people, there culture, the food and the art of city.
